Great quiz, and another great Podcast.

I got 29/36 correct in the quiz. Not too bad. :)

Looking forward to next week’s podcast David.

Get the book from Waterstone’s instead of Amazon. I need my bonus! =D

81.3% is a much higher than expected. That’s bloody good going really. Nice to see Robert make an appearence, I knew it would happen eventually. You’ll have to end one with a Sir Digby attack.

Also, congratulations Andrew! Whoever you are. xxxxxx

Can Robert Webb be in future episodes of this, pretty please? Maybe you can start from where this video leaves off…

Ha ha ha… a thoroughly good “taking the piss” episode. :)

So very lovely to see Robert, who spoke his piece both eloquently and entertainingly! Outstanding though his dancing abilities may be I was delighted to listen to what he had to say.

I vote for many more David Mitchell Soapboxes, with an addition of a Robert Webb Soapbox in future.

BTW- Congrats Mr. Andrew Langmead! :)

I didn’t do the quiz, just went out and bought some unnecessary toiletries instead…. probably quicker.

Nice to see Robert on here too.

I don’t understand why Rob is taking his trousers off at the end. It is to do a nudist dance?

That was really refreshing, to have a rant from Robert for a change. Thank you, Rob, for reminding us that David’s a tit. I like tits. :-)

I haven’t been able to watch these on the Channelflip site for some time, due to not being able to add the new player to my struggling, antique, computer. Was getting by by watching on YouTube, but I can’t find them anymore. Would some kind soul put these last four up? I’ve been looking longingly at this empty space and I feel deprived.

Thanks,

LJD

If we buy the book, will they sponsor more of these? If so, I shall buy several! Please do some more, they are just brilliant - just the right length so that you can sit down and watch one to regain your sanity, and then get back to whatever it was you were doing!!

Thanks very much to everyone who congratulated me on winning the quiz. Does anyone know how I claim it as I still haven’t received anything?

Hi Andrew - the book hasn’t been published yet so we’ll send out all your clobber once it has been. In the meantime, please do email us your address. Justin at channelflip dot com will do the trick. Well done again!

I am, at least partially, of Celtic descent (and proud of it, in as much as one can be without effectively being a racist in the ‘common’ sense of the word) but David was clearly right about the Gaelic&Grammar.
If it’s is not patently obvious why structure - which is what grammar and spelling essentially is - in communication is important then perhaps anyone with such a perception (or indeed lack thereof) would care to find a nice little surviving society of anarchy (like one might find in certain pockets of this world) and settle down there. You might equally try to learn and apply a new language where pronounciation, grammar, punctuation and in fact all form of communicative syntax are purely subject to one’s own whim. Good luck with finding any such amalgamation of manifested consciousness that can be appreciably called a “language”.
