tech: OCZ Neural Impulse Actuator
For today’s Tech show I’ve got something rather a little different: the OCZ NIA. It’s a piece of technology that the company claims can literally read your mind.
How so? Well, by attaching the sensor band around your noggin you get a couple of interaction methods. The first is that the sensors track the minute muscle movements in your forehead as you twitch your eyes, enabling it to track where you are glancing and convert that to movement in games.
The second is that the sensors track electrical charges in the front of your brain that are linked to particular thoughts. By learning to isolate those thoughts from each other you can start to use brain control as trigger inputs in your favourite PC titles.
How well does it work? Watch the video to get the verdict.

OCZee? ZEE? tsk
