Yes, yes, we already knew that. But who would have thought digital music on physical media was the future?
Not us for sure, which is why we were surprised to see Sandisk touting a new music format due for release early next year here in the UK. ‘Slot Music’ basically amounts to an MP3 on a MicroSD memory card. Buy it like CD, use it like an CD, but in a smaller form factor.
I’m not sure why I’d want to pay more to buy an MP3 on a memory card, rather than just buying it from any number of online MP3 vendors.
But, hey, maybe Sandisk has something special up its sleeve? Check out the video to find out.
