girls: What’s the score on online dating?
Online dating is truly a modern phenomenon. Millions of people have met their loved ones on t’internet.
But what’s the score? Does it really deliver results?
Or is it merely an excuse for seedy men to pick up needy women?
Emma and Bella give you the lowdown.

I met the love of my life online. We’ve been married for four years and have two kids
I think you two have missed the point a bit (but that’s because you both say you wouldn’t try it). When you go out to pubs, clubs etc., THAT’S when people are putting on a front. All dolled up, dressed up, possibly drunk - certainly not presenting the real, day-to-day version of themselves. The potential for disappointment is huge.
Conversely, if you join an online dating site and create a truthful profile, you’ll get much better results. The key is to being totally honest - lay yourself bare, criticize yourself and see what happens. It’s easy to lie and create a false presentation (of course) and naturally that will get more people taking an interest in you. But will it help you find love? No. But if you’ve been honest, and presented yourself truthfully, anyone who takes an interest in you already accepts you.
Hope this makes sense. It worked for my wife and me anyway
