games: Professor Layton and the Curious Village

Critical thinking is the key to success!

Oh yes, oh yes indeed. This is the BEST puzzling game I have ever played. Sod shooting things or blowing stuff up, there is no happy quite like the happy of solving a particularly tricksy brainteaser.

Yes that probably makes me a massive dork loser, but I don’t care. Puzzles can be my friends now.

I wouldn’t say you were a massive dork loser. You look quite petite :p

ooo I have heard a lot of buzz about this game also and I knew it had greatness written all over it. I ain’t really a fan of puzzle games but you know what you have convinced me, I will try this game. Plus I need to beef up my DS catalogue as it has remained dormant since the likes of warioware and mario kart graced my screens. Great feature as always miss fletcher can’t wait for the next. Also I was wondering how come you don’t ever review psp games (even though their ain’t been an original title for ages) but I would recommend Lumines 2 if you have a psp and btw you are not a massive dork loser for liking puzzle games; you rock for liking puzzle games :p. Keep up the good work as you always do.

Although this isn’t my kind of thing, I can still appreciate it. Looks great, reminds me of Tin Tin for some reason.

I’m guessing no PSP reviews because Channel Flip hate Sony like all good people should :P - just kidding.

Listen - you all have been doing this at channelflip for a while, but is it too much to ask to PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE normalize your audio levels in the podcast version? It’s quite ridiculous that I have to crank up the volume on the show and then get BLASTED by the sound of the channel flip logo.

This has been a problem on some episodes for as long as you’ve been around - surely you can figure it out? Or at least turn down the ending?

seems fine here ‘Dave’, the end is a little louder than the rest, but nothing to loose your muffin over.

seems like a nice game. Those are the kinds of games I’d like to have a handheld for, honestly. I actually thought about getting a DS while watching this review.
