tech: 10 Qs - Leo Laporte

While I was out in San Francisco, I took the opportunity to sit down with some of the web’s finest minds and pick their brains about technology, the web, and life as a man in the world at large today.

For the first interview in a short series on ChannelFlip Tech, I sat down with Leo Laporte - famed podcaster at Twit.tv - to garner his thoughts on iPhone, Blackberry, teleportation, Scarlet Johansson and the funniest joke he knows.

Enjoy.

Greatest interview ever!! Should consider a late-night talk show, Mr. Harris!

Funny! But I do think Leo copped out on that last question.

If your sitting in your own poop, and you teleporte, does the poop go too?

Great interview. I hear talk of the Molly Wood interview but I can’t find it?

Fun interview, but I would have enjoyed it more if I could have heard you ask the questions. I was trying to listen to it while working and I kept having to switch back to my browser and back up a tic to read the question.

Big Twit fan here - so enjoyed that. I’ve not seen him in Video before.

Wil - don’t you think he looks a little like Huge Apple?

Leo rocks it as usual. Hearing about how he got his start in tech was pretty cool. Looking forward to more interviews.

I’m not too sure what the smoking jacket and the pipe were all about, and I’d definitely second the request for audible questions… but otherwise this was excellent, lets have more of the same!

Great interview, and and awesome guest!!
Although I think Leo acted a little weird, no?…

Keep it up !!

The man is indeed a Legend in his own Lifetime.

Nice interview Will.

Should have done it in a Russian accent though ;)

Keep up the quality content.

Great Interview. The Audio is slightly on the Hot side. (I may be a bit of a captain obvious…I don’t know.)

Love the interview although I agree that he side stepped the last question. Can’t wait for Molly. Where is she! with her tattoos and piercing already!

Brilliant, Great idea and the Chief TWiT was a good sport. The pipe suits him!

Thanks for the note, Justin, but I’d like to watch them on my Treo later. Some sites have nice little download options so that I can take the great stuff with me to watch later. I don’t use iTunes, so won’t download through there and get hung up in the DRM mess.
Thanks anyway.

Great start to the interview but the last question went down the pan. (Well I hope it did).
Keep up the good work>

Great stuff ChannelFlip people. Leo’s first answer just instantly made me a fan. Damn those devices with super hard plastic casings with no openings unless you cutter them out. crap em!

I guess that was supposed to be a tribute to the Seth Macfarlane promos he did on adult swim when they first got family guy… Which was a tribute to his student film from college… which had smoking jackets and the like!

Very Funny!

The man of a thousand podcasts and voices. Leo Laporte, ladies and gentlemen.

This is why he needs to get a side job recording audiobooks.
