games: hello gamers, i couldent really find a introduction section so i hope this is ok?

hi everyone, how are all you gamers?
ive only JUST discovered this site, well a friend mentioned it ages ago and i kind of forgot about it today i was bored and i thought i would take a look.

annnnd, i was amazed and also saddened to see what i have been missing out on all this time!

i just picked a few random reviews by miss Katharine Fletcher and i loved them! they were very well told and very well presented, and by somebody who is obviously a gamer and knows what they are talking about, and not just reading it of a bit of scabby paper, miss Fletcher passion about games shows, if not then u should be an actress.

im a gamer like you all so i hope to chat about games (a.k.a dissing fanboys ,joking,) and possibly meet a few of you gaming sessions on xbox live or the wii in the future (im always up for a game of smash bros and mario kart)

personally i am a nintendo man myself, i had been brought up on nintendo and although i have the 360 and play other consoles nintendo will always be my thing.

im sorry if i have posted this in the wrong place, then sorry
p.s have i just made a twat of myself?

thanks
ian gore (ibbsters)

thank you, i can see i will be visiting this site a few times a day. i will be into the games section the most being a gamer…but i find the “piggy piggy snack snack” part great too. the name made me laugh my socks off. why did anyone not this of reviewing sweets before? pure genius! ahhh good memorys of being obese (if there can be good memorys ) DAMM YOU JAMIE OLIVER lol

anyway thanks for making me feel welcome. i will be recommending this site to everybody…. i have recommended the games section to gonintendo.com just this second. the more people who know about channelflip the better.

and thank you Katharine for personally replying to this post, it means alot…

before i shoot off id just like to ask a few questions Katharine. if i may.

1 what genre of games are you into?
2: how often do you review games?
3: will you be reviewing any wii games ?
and 4: is the channel flip crew or you yourself Katharine, open to suggestions on new ideas in the future? (i.e top tens and guides)

ok, im off now, i wont be adding to this topic anymore.
time to join you all in the real (forum) world. and try that mission on mercenaries 2 for the 20th time

see u all on the forums
and thank you again

Thanks for the support Ian and for spreading the word!

In response to your questions:
1: I like a whole variety of genres depending on my mood or if I’m playing on my own or with friends. If I’m playing with friends I love fighting games like the Soul Calibur series, or FPS (either co-op or PvP) like Halo 3. Because I play a lot of games for review, then generally in my own time I tend to play simpler things like the arty arcade style shooters like Rez or Everyday Shooter, but at the moment I’m also pretty hooked on all the RPG stuff for DS (which is a pretty good sign I need to get off my arse and find a decent pen and paper roleplaying campaign, lol).

2: 3 episodes of the show go out per week. Most of those will be reviews, but there are also features in there too.

3: Yes, I am going to start reviewing Wii games in the very near future.

4: Both the ChannelFlip crew and myself are very open to suggestions for show ideas. I write my show for its viewers, so it makes sense that you guys should be able to say what you want to see. In fact I put out a call for ideas about six weeks ago if you want to see some of the things that have already been suggested. You can post ideas in the comments sections, or email myself or any of the crew privately (our addresses are in the ‘about’ section below).

Cheers!
