tech: Maker Faire at IDF

For the last day of the Intel Developer Forum, Make magazine organised a mini Maker Faire to take place at the Moscone Centre.

Lots of tech hobbyists and robotics enthusiasts turned up to show off their creations, and I captured the pick of them on camera.

By far my favourite Maker creation was the homemade R2-D2 robot, which frankly blew my mind. Enjoy.

Cool!

I think “Dante” is using Ubuntu with the Mplayer ASCII output, for anyone interested in trying it for themselves :)

Wil, I hope you will be showing more clips of the things on the floor there. There were some things shown between interviews that looked fascinating as well. Good coverage, I hope there is more to come. Great work.
