web: ChinesePod

If you haven’t been paying attention, there’s been an Olympics going on in China.  Maybe you’ve overheard some coaches yelling at athletes.

Maybe you’ve heard some of those announcements over the P.A. system.  The problem is you can’t understand a word they are saying because they speak Chinese and you don’t.

Welcome to ChinesePod.com This is the place to learn Chinese. A billion people speak Chinese, now you can, too.

Plus, ChinesePod has been nice enough to give ChannelFlip viewers a cool deal for free.  Go to the comments section for details.

The ChinesePod.com Deal*

ChinesePod would be more than happy to credit each person who mentions ChannelFlip to ChinesePod between the 22nd of August and the 5th of September 2008 with 25USD.

The Process:

1. Create a free trial at http://chinesepod.com/signup
2. Email chinesepod@gmail.com with subject title “ChannelFlip”
3. ChinesePod will credit the account using the email address sent to them
4. Visitors can then use that credit on any of our subscription packages

*This offer is only available to new ChinesePod users.

Go out there and learn some Chinese! Also, we’d like to thank ChinesePod for this deal. Thank you.

I found out that these guys also have three other very interesting sites. For those that are more interested in learning Romance languages, here you have the best sites to learn Spanish, French and Italian.

http://spanishpod.com
http://frenchpod.com
http://italianpod.com

Check them out these are really cool sites and a revolutionary way of learning a language that makes it so much easy and convenient.

I second August: I’d love to see longer episodes as well! And as a Swiss grammar Nazi I’d like to point out the horrible (or cynical) mistake in the prent post. :)
keep it up guys!
