games: Too Human interview

Today sees the US release of new Silicon Knights opus, Too Human. Exclusive to the Xbox 360, this game offers a startlingly imaginative narrative concept and a unique gameplay that blends RPG and 3PS genres more completely than we’ve seen in a game to date.

I was lucky enough to interview Silicon Knights president and director of the game, Denis Dyack, who was so friendly and helpful despite having jet-lag from hell, and who here speaks with real depth and passion about some of the ideas behind the game.

Keep your eyes peeled for the European release on the 29th, and for my review of the game which will be on the site next week.

:( I think I may be suffering from Mans fabled inability to multitask because I’m finding it very hard to follow a conversation and listen to people singing Latin at the same time.

There never was. I believe it was Old Norse.

Ahh. If it was from the Too Human soundtrack that explains why it sounded Latin. Steve Henifin wrote the lyrics in English then had them translated into old Norse then they adjusted the Norse into ‘Latin convention’ for the choir to learn phonetically and perform. So its basically old Norse performed in a Gregorian style.

Interesting bit of pointless trivia there Norbit!

Cheers for removing the chanting channelflip folks, much easier on the lugholes now.
