anyone know why all the podcast episodes no longer work on appletv?
every episode is now showing as “format is not compatible”. never had a problem before.
last episode i watched was BBC Micro, but even that one is now not working. has a change been made that makes then no longer appletv compatible ?
Me too! all the vids \reappeared\ in itunes with that damn commercial at the start (i now have 2 copies of some), and they are all a much lower quality on my mac! poo
is no-one from admin going to give a reason why this might be happening?
i sent an email via contact and had no reply from that either.

As a workaround, note that if you click the download button instead, the episode will be downloaded instead of streamed. It will show up the in the My Podcasts menu and plays fine from there.
So I imagine the problem is in the streaming setup, not the actual video file format…
yes it does play if you manually download, but i would prefer it to work as it did previously.
is this likely to be fixed ?
according to itunes, the encoding has changed from h.264 to mpeg4. This has reduced the quality and introduced the “not playing” issues. It wont play on my iPhone either, the video freezes or looses sync with the audio. Please sort this out!
