film: Black Sheep
In deepest, darkest New Zealand our protagonists have a problem. That problem is - zombie sheep.
Yes, carrying on the traditional of Kiwi comedy horror that was started by Peter Jackson’s Bad Taste and Brain Dead, Black Sheep features gory yet hilarious ovine action.
Ironically, Peter Jackson’s new company - WETA digital, which was set up to provide the special effects for the Lord of the Rings films - does the digital effects here, which does mean they’re pretty neat.
There’s a bit of gore on show here so be advised, those who don’t like shotgun-on-sheep action might like to look away now.

i remember seeing the premier of this. the humor is very kiwi which is a lot like british humor really.
yet another reason for the australians to rip us out about sheep though…
