I totally agree with how you felt about Death Proof in the end. I saw the whole Grindhouse double feature in theaters and I loved the first part (Planet Terror), but I also enjoyed the fake trailers that were shown in between the first movie and this one. The best was probably the one titled Machete.
I would have bought the entire Grindhouse package if it had come as one big set, but with it being released as in individual chunks on DVD, I will probably skip buying any of it!
