tech: Blackberry Pearl 8120
Everyone knows that the Blackberry is de rigeur for corporate types, but now RIM is making a real push to get the mobile email devices into the hands of consumers too. The Pearl 8120 builds on the original slimline Pearl and adds some cool new features - like WiFi and a better camera. Watch the show for my verdict.

Hey Wil, nice review!
I want to say something about the media player control. You mentioned that there were no hardware control on the device to skip a track, etc. Although you’re right in the sense that there are no dedicated buttons (other than volume) to control the media player, you can however use the “JK” key to forward to the next track or “DF” to go back to the previous one. To do this, you must be in the media player application so I agree this won’t work if your keypad is locked but you can use the speakerphone button located on the top of the device to pause and resume the media at any time. Once unlocked, you can also press the Menu key from almost any screen and the first menu item should read “Now Playing…”; this will bring you directly to the media player screen. And if you have wireless stereo Bluetooth headphones, chances are that you have control buttons on them that you can use to skip tracks, change the volume or pause and stop songs. This can be done at any screen, even if the keypad is locked.
The device also pauses the playing music or movie when a call comes in and resumes it when the call is ended and supports
Keep up the great work!!
