So if you fancy yourself as a DJ, this might be the bit of kit for you. It’s USB, comes with some decent software, and it makes it pretty easy to make a choon that sounds respectable - as I prove in this video (with particular style and panache, I think you’ll agree). However, there’s one downside I didn’t get around to mentioning in the video - this doesn’t work with Vista, which is a bit of a shame, but probably isn’t enough to affect the decent rating.

Enjoy folks. I do try to brighten your days.

FYI, mixman software only works with Windows 98-XP, not Vista, Mac OS X, or Linux. It can be hacked to work with Midi and Traktor in Mac OS X and Windows XP but does not work at all in Vista and only works as a mouse in Linux.

If it doesn’t work with Mac how is he using it then? Just brought this second hand not realising that it didn’t come with a CD, and now I can’t find drivers further more I have a Sony Vaio with 32-bit Vista and I can’t use it at all : (
Does anyone know anywhere at all where I can get the drivers and software?

BTW nice mixing!

For the price, it’s great! I really like the videos were you’re stepping out of the usual tech gadgets. Thanks Wil!

Any word on trying out the IDJ2 from Numark that runs of the iPod?
