tech: Mash RSS feeds with Yahoo Pipes

This episode is a little different - a tutorial on how to customise and mash up RSS feeds using the fantastic web tool that is Yahoo Pipes. With Pipes, I show you how to pull RSS feeds together and filter them for the content you’re interested in, and how to use RSS to download your Bittorrent files with advanced filtering. If you’re a big web news reader and downloader like I am, you should find this pretty interesting. For everyone that knew how to do this already - watch out for Wednesday, when we’re going to have something awesome for you - stay tuned!

You can subscribe to the show and make sure you get Wednesday’s episode before anyone else! (iTunes store link!)

(P.S. Apologies for my voice in this episode - I have a stinking cold right now, which does not help.)

Liked the show and all, BUT why not plug the HD pipe RSS into Miro? Opensource, video oriented, Free. A much better fit for any video RSS you find or hack.

Ahhhhhh… more episodes should be like this. Really nice tip Wil, and I’m glad of a decent tech show a little closer to home rather than the US. I no longer have to do currecny conversion :P
