tech: Acer Gemstone Laptop
The Gemstone laptop - or the Aspire 5920, to give it its full name - is a rather bulky, if nippy machine. Standard components include Core 2 Duo processors and this model has a GeForce 8600 GT card, which makes it great for mobile gaming. Unfortunately, it’s not all roses - but the Gemstone gets a solid rating nonetheless. Watch the video for the details.

Great review. This actually makes me want to buy one. The HDMI output on the laptop is killer and I’ve been meaning to get a Vista machine I can plug into my plasma TV at home for Media Center…
